Do you ride a motorcycle? Do you have a friend that rides? Then strap on your helmet
and rev up your engine for a rock n’ rollin’ good time for a great cause!
Pilgrim Lanes and the International
Candlepin Youth Bowling Association are holding a benefit motorcycle ride to raise money for the Junior &
Teenage leagues to help them with their trip to Canada in March 2011.

This Event will be held on Sunday June 27, 2010
leaving Pilgrim Lanes at 10:00am and arriving back at Pilgrim Lanes no later than 3:00pm. Please arrive 30 minutes early for
check-in
Alternate date due to rain will be Saturday July 31, 2010
(Please pre-register and get your pledge sheets by Friday June
25, 2010 so we can get an accurate count.)
How it works:
We are looking for riders to get pledges for the miles that they
ride ranging from 5 cents per mile to a flat pledge of no less than $5.00 per person – Example: If we ride 100 miles for the day, a person pledging 5 cents per mile will pay $5.00 ~ 10 cents per mile
riding 100 miles = $10.00 and so on. We are looking to ride around 100 miles
mainly on back roads with no highway driving just to enjoy the day.
Get a passenger and double your pledges! (optional)
We are hoping for around
30-40 riders with each rider getting pledges totaling no less than $50.00 per rider (you can just throw in $50.00 yourself
and avoid the pledges). We will meet at Pilgrim Lanes and leave sharply at 10am. When we arrive back at Pilgrim Lanes (no later than 3pm), we will have a large
cookout with hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone who rode in this event. This
is a great way to ride with a group of fun people to raise money, make new friends and eat!
Our scheduled route will take us from Pilgrim Lanes to Rt 121 pass the Massabesic Lake, Rt 28 to Rt 27 towards
Rt 1. We will follow Rt 1A down the coast into Newburyport and follow Rt 113 back into Haverhill (click "View Larger
Map" below).
