Welcome to
the 2007-2008 season! Hope you all had a great summer.
I'd like to welcome back all the veteran members and ask that we all welcome all the new bowlers to our league. We
are celebrating our 40 years this year! This is Pilgrim Lanes 40th
Anniversary and this league has been around since they opened.
We have 15 teams this year! That’s up from 13 teams last year.
bowlers pay $10.00 per week whether you’re
here or not. If you have a sub and the sub pays the $7.50 bowling fee, you only need to pay the remaining $2.50 dues money.
Mark only what you pay that week. Don’t go back or forward on the envelope, please. It is easier to track the money
this way.
Just a few reminders:
If your name is not spelt correctly please note it on the envelope. I will be passing around the name & address
sheet for you to review and initial. Please check it carefully, particularly the phone numbers. This is important for
cancellation purposes. If you want to put your email address down, I’ll email any cancellations or news to you.
If we do cancel the league due to weather, the decision will be made by 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. You can call me
or Pilgrim Lanes shortly after 4:00 p.m.
We bowl 30 weeks that will bring us to end on April 13th, 2008. We will not be bowling on Superbowl Sunday
or the week the kids go to Canada (March 30th). This may change for weather
cancellations.
The banquet will be held on May 17th,
2008 at the Amvets, next door. We will be choosing a theme and suggestions are welcome!
This is a social league, and I would appreciate tempers and language be kept in check at all times. The use of the
“F” bomb is strictly prohibited!
For some this is a night
out without kids, so those who do bring kids, please keep this in mind.
We play by ICBA rules. Any questionable incidents please consult me or
someone at the counter. The main objective in this league is to have a fun night out!
We will be doing Hi-Lo Jack each night, (after tonight).

I’m looking for someone to take over
this league next year. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll show you how I’ve done it. It’s not
that difficult but I would like a break. The position pays $100.00 for the year.
