31st. week the finals,
payment for this week will be paid at that time by the

SEASON:
THE LEAGUE WILL BOWL 31 WEEKS:
A. 29 Weeks Regular Season
B. 2 Weeks of Roll-Offs
ROLL OFF:
All 8 teams will make roll-off.
The two top teams draw a buy for first week.
The other 6 teams bowl each other the first week.
The winner (Total Pin Fall) Bowls the top two teams the second
weeks. In the event of a tie for total pinfall in first week of roll-off
both teams will advance. Total pin fall determines top two teams
for year if a tie on points.
In the event of a tie for second place (end of regular season) in
points and total pin fall. Both teams will draw a buy to finals. In
event of a tie of total pinfall in the finals there will be a one string
roll-off.
POINTS:
Each string has a value of two points plus two points for total game score.
HANDICAP:
80% Handicap will be utilized during the regular season and Roll-off.
Hi-LO:
One Bowler each week will bowl for Hi-Lo
FOUL LINE:
The foul line will be utilized
LOB LINE:
The Lob Line will be utilized
ASSESSMENTS: Each Bowler will
be assessed “$75.00” every 5 weeks. Six payments. A Bowler will be assessed if he bowls or not. You will
be given a payment schedule. If you fail to pay you will not bowl.
One Bowler will win $32.00 every week for Hi-Over average.
ABSENCE OF BOWLER: A. If for any reason a team does not have 4
bowlers, minus
five points will be deducted for every bowler missing. No
dummy will be used. After two weeks a bowler is out
without an adequate excuse, or league finds out he quit, on
the third week we will begin to use his full average until
he is replaced.
B.
A Team will be able to bowl as long as one member is
present.
There will be no forfeit.
C.
Any one will be able to bowl prior to the completion of
both teams’ 5th. Box of the
first string.
D.
If any Bowler is out two weeks in a row and does not
not present an “adequate” excuse;
the Bowler is
automatically terminated from the league.
E.
8 Captains and League President will make any final
decisions of any league discrepancies having
to do with
bowling or absenteeism.
CAPTAINS: Each
team will elect a captain who will be responsible for the following:
A.
Collect weekly, assessments and give them to treasurer
at the beginning of the first string.
B.
Have Phone # of all members of his team in case of
cancellation or emergency.
CANCELLATION OF BOWLING: If for any reason bowling must be cancelled. The
President will contact the captains who in turn will contact their team.
SPARES: You
are eligible for high single, high triple and high average if you have
bowled more than 45 strings.
FUNCTIONS: Sponsors
will come to all functions (to be assessed difference)
Summer outing will be held only if funds
allow it and voted on.
REFUNDS: No
Refunds if you quit the league or cannot make the banquet. But you can
pay
$8.00 per week and be eligible for all league functions.
PENANTIES: Any
bowler who is one box late for his turn to bowl due to playing video
games or obtaining an alcoholic beverage
and fails to wear his bowling shirt
Etc., will be fined $1.00 per offense.
AWARDS: Awards
will e given for the following:
1.
Winning team and sponsor.
2.
Runner-Up team
3.
Individual high average
4.
Individual high single
5.
Individual high triple
6.
The Sam Fawcett Memorial Plaque (Sportmanship)
7.
The Michael Passamonte Memorial Plaque (Most Improved Bowler)
BOXES: We
will bowl 5 Boxes at a time.
AVERAGES: We
will start season off with (0) average.
Standings and averages count and will stand right
from first week. No holding back or keeping averages same for first two weeks.
