The
show consists of three - 5 week ladders with 3 age divisions competing for numerous prizes and ultimately the season's championship
teams. The champs receive savings bonds as well as beautiful championship jackets. Prizes are funded by the kids themselves
as well as donations from different organizations, people and professional bowlers. Candlepin bowling has been part of New
England history & heritage for over 100 years producing legends like Stasia Czernicki, Tommy Olszta & its most famous
sports announcer Don Gillis of channel 5's Candlepin bowling show which aired for nearly 40 years. Candlepin's future is in
the hands of all youth bowlers everywhere. They will determine if the game will last for another 100 years. Candlepin for
Kids gives the youth of today the opportunity to experience head to head competitive bowling.
